First Things First. This is a great comedy that everyone should see and all the kid actors did a great job.
I thought this was interesting when I was listening to the kids commentary on the dvd, you had all the ordinary and loud kids and then you had Robert, who was the quiet asian kid. I was really pissed off at the compliments the other boys gave Robert like that he can beat any one up(which is so not true). And there were many times when they were trying to make him talk or say something. One of boys even said "say something Robert." They didn't say anything mean to Robert but when you can relate to someone like him, it really hurts.
Anyways, has anyone seen this movie? If you have the DVD try listening to the kids commentary.

I've seen this movie. I thought it was cute. Our whole school actually went to go see it at the end of the year last year. However, I don't have the DVD. I kind of wish I did, though so that I could see the commentary.

I have seen the movie, and enjoy it quite a bit. Kindergarden Cop is another great one.

I got the School of Rock DVD recently, mainly due to being a big Jack Black fan, but I noticed how the other kids interact with the quiet kid Robert. I don't think the kids were trying to be mean to him, but the guys seemed to be pretty talkative, whilst Robert seemed pretty bewildered at actually being in a film in the first place. I know at 10 years old, other kids didn't get why I didn't talk constantly, and it can get pretty overwhelming at that age when everyone is trying to get you to say something. Robert looks like an amazing musician though, like most of the other kids, kind of puts my 'talents' to shame!
