I read it, most of it at least. Some of it helps to a certain extent. We just have to put what he says into action. You can probably go to a bookstore and see if they have it if amazon doesn't have it anymore. The book I REALLY reccomend is Dr. Phil's "Self Matters." I reccomend that book over "The Gift of Shyness." ~InfiniteAbyss

I own it and have read it. I've actually found it quite useful in combination with 2 other sources of information I have read thus far.. Dale Carnegie's "How to win friends and influence people" and a PDF document I got online about how to find the woman of your dreams.. that writing too was very good.
The thing "the gift of shyness" does is teaches you to look at your shyness as an ASSET and to stop putting yourself down and be the gentile, sensitive, kind person you are capable of being. More important then the words that come out of your mouth is the body language you portray, your tone of voice, and your percieved level of self worth. Other people will be able to read these subtle things off you like a book, and the number one thing shy people do wrong is look down upon themselves thinking they are flawed (same goes for introverts)
If you can put the book's practice into action, it's very beneficial and I recommend reading it. You should buy Dale Carnegie's book while you are at it as well.. you can order them both from amazon and get free shipping that way.
