I saw this yesterday. I enjoyed it more than Star Wars III overall and it is the best Batman movie IMO. All of the characters were very well done, as was the script. Plus the sequel has been set up. I think it might be the best movie of the summer, although it can't be expected to do as well as Star Wars.
My favorite line from the movie is now my sig. I think most people here can apply this line to their shyness.

I loved this movie ;D It was a really good way to portray batman, which i heard is closer to the story used in the comics. And now that i think about it, i enjoyed watching this more than star wars, even though i liked that too ;D.

Saw it on Sunday with my friends and we all loved it and it was the only Batman movie I liked. Best part was when the Scarecrow got it in the face with the taser.

Yep, this one exceeded my expectations as well. It was non-stop action from beginning to end basically. Great to see how the guy actually became Batman. 4 and a half stars from me! Has anyone actually read the comics and is this movie accurate about the beginning of Batman?

Just saw this movie again. The 2nd time wasn't as good as the first, obviously, but it's still good. And i actually understood everything the 2nd time through, like the enemy's crazy scheme to destroy Gotham.

I saw it for the first time today...it was so awesome!! The beginning was a liiiiitle bit slow, I think because I wanted to see Christian Bale in the bat suit, heehee. It was a great movie.
2 thumbs up! *** 1/2 stars.

I saw this yesterday. I enjoyed it more than Star Wars III... I think it might be the best movie of the summer, although it can't be expected to do as well as Star Wars. Despite it being vastly inferior to Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith in almost every way, it was very good. Can I just say Episode III was the greatest film Ive seen in the cinema for years. I think I will start a star wars thread actually...and I realise this isnt it so ill stop talking about Star Wars now. Batman was very good, as I mentioned to Infinite Abyss Im not sure if I prefer Batman set in reality to fantasy but this is the best Batman film, which you would expect with Christopher Nolan at the helm. Can I just point out, in case you didnt know that Christian Bale is Welsh, from South Wales just like me There was no real reason to tell you that but we are proud of our Welsh actors so I have to say this to everyone when discussing Batman.

We Cornish feel the same way..... oh no wait we don't have anyone. Oh yes we do! Dave Prowse of course! Darth Vader himself! Well he walked about in the suit anyway. Still it kind of counts ;D

And wow, surprisingly i like it better than spiderman 2 which was my fave super hero movie. I don't think it was quite as good as "Spider-Man 2," although I did enjoy it a lot. The action scenes, though, were really confusing- they were shot in a way that I couldn't understand what was going on. Overall, a very good movie.
