I haven't gotten anything new recently, and for some reason, many Netflix anime DVDs are damaged. I stick to the premium stuff: anything by Miyazaki, Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Escaflowne, etc. The kiddie stuff doesn't interest me.

I'm a big anime watcher right here. Heck, a large portion of my DVD collection consists of anime.

I like Akira and Princess Mononoke. My Neighbor Totoro is cool too. The totoro is a pretty cool creature.

I was never really a fan of anime untill i discovered spirited away and now I'm a big Studio Ghibli fan especially anything by Miyazaki. Princess Mononoke is my favourite.

Where's the thumbs up smiley? GreenCine (like NetFlix) is another good source for Anime (and other strange things). (As with most things) I enjoy a wide variety... Studio Ghibli works are a definate. Ghost in the Shell (the movies and series) is one of my favorites. (The new Appleseed movie was similarly great). Lain was psych-cool. ...

Akira Princess Mononoke Grave of the Fire Flies Cowboy Bebop Macross Spirited Away Escaflowne
not sure if you'd considor Final Fantasy Advent Children to be anime or not, though it's not a cartoon it is a computer animated movie.
I'm sure a left a couple of the ones i liked alot out, i use to be a huge anime fan - not so much anymore though.
Princess Mononoke is probably my all time favorite.

I resisted watching anime for a very long time, but had some friends who were fans and I got curious. I only watched a few movies so far, but I enjoyed each one I saw immensely. As seems to be the consensus, Princess Mononoke is great, and I really liked Grave of the Fireflies and Spirited away as well. I'm sure I'll watch more as I find them.

I love watching a story in a TV series. I think that is the best medium for story telling. Movies are usually too short to get a good plot into them. And animes often have excellent storylines.
