Hi, I am a young, 22 year old new Mommy who is very shy and moved to a new city within the past 2 years but still I don't know anyone here. I had a falling out with many of my family members during my pregnancy and now stay at home with my 8 month old daughter. I am very shy and actually have a chronic illness that is painful, so it is hard to get out and meet people for several reasons! I am really concerned about the health of my daughter, not being around any other people and maybe I can meet someone else in this new city to hang out with! Preferably another woman but I'd like to meet anyone! That's all about me, thanks for reading this!

hello, welcome to the forums! and congrats on being a new mommy! 8 month old...not that I know that much about babies, but does it really make a difference if they are or if they are not around a lot of people at that age? I just think it makes a huge difference when they're like 2-5. when they start school and everything. maybe you'll meet other parents too.

Hiya, welcome to the boards! I agree, I think it would be great for you and your baby if you guys got out and met other people. Those early years are really important.
