I realize some of the threads I've started in here might seem like I'm anti-American, but nothing could be further from the truth. I love America, though I'm Canadian. I feel a kinship with people in United States. Here is an article about us over here in Canada! Our "multiculturalism" is getting us into bigger and bigger messes!!! Here it is: www.thetrumpet.com/index.php?q=4644.2901.0.0

Anyway, i wouldn't take one man's opinion and his editorial as gospel, so to speak. He exaggerates a lot, sure. But there is something to be said of activist groups crusading minority rights' causes into far more than what they originally were meant to be. I know little of Canada, myself, except for the few Canadians i know in real life, and they too are very critical of their government and the people running it. Specifically, they rant and rave about the anti-gun laws that are being passed up there. Anyway, I think the guy is going too far into implicating the atheists, homosexuals, and Muslims into a conspiracy confederation. I can't see Muslims working together with athiests or homosexuals, myself. I do, however, agree that this anti anti-Muslim sentiment proliferated in government is going too far. Muslims too must rise to the challenge of defending their faith against criticism and cynics; they should not be able to wield the censors' pen to just eliminate their antagonists' words. It won't work; the Christian Fundamentalists have been trying to do it in the US for centuries now. I'm only guessing, but it seems to me that the radical Muslims out there censoring and claiming the Holocaust to be a 'myth' are really reacting out of fear for their faith, because their faith cannot stand up to reason and science. Hell, Christianity and Hinduism have had to wither this test for decades now, and i see no reason why Islam should be excluded. Eventually, i think all this nonsense will come to a head, then fade away. Well, i hope.
