I used to watch "The Galloping Gormet" when I was about 3 or 4 ;D. Really enjoyed his energy a lot!!! I don't get a lot of cooking shows on my tv right now, but awhile back there was a show on CBC called "The Urban Peasant" and I enjoyed it a lot. He liked to grind that pepper shaker right over the meals he prepared ;D!!!

"The Urban Peasant" host was so charming! I used to see him on once in awhile, too. I enjoy watching "What's for Dinner" with the two (names escape me right now) who have a jovial teasing banter between them.
While on this topic, you know the famous chef/cook Julia Childs, the sweet little old lady who used to show viewers how to make souflees and roasts, etc? I was surprised when news came out that she apparently used to be a spy for the CIA at one time. I was very skeptical at first, because it sounded so much like an over the top urban legend, but its supposedly been confirmed at true through various sources. Who'da thunk it?
