I like 'The Cosby Show', 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air 'and I've heard good things about 'I love Lucy'
Are there any other old hidden gems? Which shows did you like?

"I Love Lucy" is not just good, it's FANTASTIC. A must-see classic TV show, indeed. I watched waaaay too much television growing up. Other shows I watched include: The Brady Bunch....The Wonder Years....Roseanne....Full House....Growing Pains.....All in the Family..... hmm...I feel like I can't think properly right now...I might add more later.

Seinfeld, Raymond and '70s Show are the best. Frasier is also good. I thought Friends was really lame all the time.

^ Those shows are all "old" now? I guess 'old' is anything that only exists as re-runs now? I thought Friends was really lame all the time. ...wow, in addition to the whole music thing, I'm pretty sure we have like barely anything in common aside from shyness issues, lol. I LOVE FRIENDS! ...and I still watch the re-runs on tv when I get the chance.

Can I count the Simpson's as old just because I started to lose interest in the new episodes after series 10 and much prefer the classic ones

...wow, in addition to the whole music thing, I'm pretty sure we have like barely anything in common aside from shyness issues, lol. I LOVE FRIENDS! Yeah, I'm glad I don't have to share the TV or CD player with you {actually my whole music collection exists solely as MP3files on my laptop, though}. I don't know why, I didn't find it funny or good, at times it seemed more like a drama show than a sitcom. It just isn't comparable at all to Seinfeld in my opinion^^. Forgot to mention Stargate and Star Trek {I'm one of those semi-nerds who like those things}.

Cheers and Frasier were like a second faith in our family. We watched them religiously every night.

I love a fair few old British tv shows, the likes of Porridge, Dad's Army, Steptoe & Son, Open All Hours, Rising Damp. Classic comedy the lot of 'em. Unlike the vast majority of tripe we produce now. I'm more into a few contemporary US shows as British television has largely gone down the toilet for the most part. New Red Dwarf at Easter though!! ;D ;D ;D Er, but yeah. If I had to recommend one it would have to be Porridge, and the genius that is Ronnie Barker

Thanks guys for the suggestions. I discovered old Disney shows - well not really old but like 5 years or older - that, to me, look interesting. Even Stevens - credited for launching Shia LaBeouf's career So WeirdThe Famous Jett JacksonI found all of these to be on YouTube. yay technology Anyway, as a kid I used to watch 'Knight Rider' a lot. I liked the 'The A-Team' too. I just saw that the new series of Knight Rider started a few months ago..
