My Temporary agency called me and told me they company that i was working for decided to end my assignment. What a bunch of mean losers!!
They told me all this time( year plus) that they would hire me but they didn't.
And last week I was training all this people with all my kindness thinking that i'd be transfered to another job in the company and other people would be doing what i do now. BUT NO.. it was just a trick. they just wanted to get rid of me.
what a bunch of ******!!! Now it's all over.
What shoud i do?

man that really really sucks. I hate when companies act like that. All you can do is be kind to yourself and start looking for another job.

Thanks missklew. i'll try my best. At least I know, having been around all these talkative loud mouths at work for such a long time, that maybe i'll be alittle bit better at speaking than I was before. So I feel better prepared to look for work.
But problem is I have medical problems, and I guess i'm gonna have to hide them and not talk about them with any interview i have. Cause if i do, they'll have no interest in me.

On a REALLY positive note, at least you won't be hassled, and bullied by a 50 y/o sad loser who should know better @ that age. Make a fresh start, Peter, and here's wishing you a brighter, and more positive working environment in your next job

And guess what?? It's gonna be June meaning Highschool students graduate and generally most highschool students are better than me at speaking and even smarter than me...so why would a company want to hire me over them? they wouldn't! I'm in my 30s but only ve done temp general office jobs. i've never had a career.
plus i'm shy and a bad speaker.
I'll try to keep positive but when i see these highschool students all perfect speakers, it makes me feel like worthless

When I got my first real non-temp job I was hired because I was a little bit older than most other college students applying for the job. I was later told that they picked me because I was quiet. It can work both ways. A lot of companies will go the stable/mature route over youth. Good luck.

My only network right now is the temp companies around my city. I've signed up with all. There's one where i'm like good friends with the lady there cause she's been helping me all along since i got this job where they fired me. So she's helping me.
As for what i'm doig on my own.. well, right now I'm just taking a breath. I haven't sent out resume's in response to website ads because most ads are fake spam.
I also haven't sent out resumes to companies on my own. Most companies in the phonebook are stores that sell stuff and i'm not a sales person so sometimes i'm not sure if it's good to pick companies from the yellow pages.
But i guess that's what i have to do.
