I hate healthcare jobs: any job in the healthcsare industry but that's the jobs that supposedly will never end.
They laid me off from a dumb healthcare LAB because i was quiet. Yup that's the only reason. cause i wasn't loud and party type like them.
And i've noticed that everyoen working there w as loud annoying. all of them!!
and everytime i've gone to hostpitals i see the same kind of people.
Healthcare jobs just want loud annoying people. cause they like people who don't stop talking and just gossip.
I always see these f*** commercials in tv, that say "COME AND STUDY HEALTH CARE JOBS!!!" . MY F** A*****! i ihate healthcare jobs.
And you know the funnything about healthcare jobs, the dumb employees smoke and drink!!! What kind of example are they
Anyways, even receptionist jobs for healthcare places want loud talkative people only. that's why usually they get women

3 weeks. But i'm just saying Healthcare jobs don't like quiet people. at least they don't like me. Everyone including the top woman of the company was teasing me. The only one who didn't tease me was the head manager head boss of the whole thing and he was quiet himself, and he retired, . He was gonna hire me but the woman didn't like me so she just waited for him to retire and then fired me.
Anyways, what i'm saying is all these companies with heathcare jobs don't like quiet people. Just look at who runs the immediate hospital places.
Loud cocky doctors, loud nurses, loud receptionists, loud laboratory people, loud receptionists. They want people who can fit in. I'm never gonne fit in so i'm just saying.. healthcare is not for me

All office type jobs I've had, the people there have teased / mocked me. So your not alone. Retail is different. All small shops I've worked in, the staff have been friendly. And then you gain confidence and it no longer becomes an issue.

It is human nature to mock, tease and antagonize that which is different. Why? Hell if I know, but it is my experience. At the height of my shyness I worked evening janitorial, where I worked alone. In my early 20's I made some major changes in my life, started to come out of my shell, and found people started to treat me normally. It bothers me that people that are different from the crowd get picked on. It makes no sense to me, but none the less it is the way it is. If you are extremely reserved, soft spoken and shy... the treatment you had in your health care jobs will probably be the norm no matter where you go.
With that said, not every company is the same. Some companies have better ethics and work environment. I wish I had some words of encouragement, but people can be cruel, I hate it, but there is nothing I can do about it. We can only control ourselves and are by in large powerless over others.

I've worked as a dental assistant for the last 4 and half years. That's health care. Apparently one of the more common personality types found in dental auxiliary is an INFP...which is me lol Despite being on the more introverted side, I've always been liked and really liked my coworkers...for the most part. I'm reconsidering dental assisting now though....not for shyness reasons so much as it's a pain working with dentists. They tend to be difficult people. Meh I might try it again, but right now I'm going to try something different.

That is very true. You only really have control over yourself. Sometimes you have to just adapt a little. If health care is something you are actually interested in, it might help if you try to learn to let some things roll off your back and let go a bit more. Like something that always seems to work for me is if someone asks me why I don't talk...I will say in a cheerful way, I'm not much of a talker. I just state it like it is and I don't apologize for it. I don't always do this, but everytime that I have I felt satisfied with the situation. The times when I've felt ashamed or uncomfortable I feel like I've lost some kind of battle. lol Stand your ground I guess...I think I'm rambling now so I'll stop haha
