Idk what to do

So it was my 1st day of high-school and i was very nervous as it was so when i got on the bus and the only spot was next to a good looking guy i was even more horrified. Note that Ive never had a boyfriend. So when it got to talking all we pretty much said was hi and our names. A few days have gone by and Ive known him for a week. I sit next to him on the bus bc there are no other seats open. But heres the dilemma; I feel that i mostly lead the conversation.. I have seen him looking at me but he responds to my questions with one word answers mostly, although we have shared a couple jokes. Theres a 4 day weekend coming up and Idk weather to ask him to hang or not! Plz help

he's prolly sitting next to you cuz he's noticed you're shy and he feels safe cuz he doesn't have to talk. pick an activity where he doesn't have to talk and invite him to meet you there. low pressure.

It's probably too late now, but the best bet that you have for the rest of the year is to approach the guy and get a good gauge of him. I suppose there is a question of what kind of a guy he is... is he considerate of others, boys and girls? Is he smart? Could you possibly have fun if stuck on a deserted island for a few hours?
