I wanna debate. I say yay and not nay. I challenge anyone to convince me otherwise.

I say Nay. Without Nay, Yay would not be as Yay as it is, so it needs equal amounts of Nay in order to keep it's Yay-ness.

Most of you have enough sense to say yay, but I have an urge to argue so I will. I'm a horse and I say Nay. I find that very species-centric. What about everyone who is not a horse? Why should you force your nay on them? I say Nay. Without Nay, Yay would not be as Yay as it is, so it needs equal amounts of Nay in order to keep it's Yay-ness. Oh so your only arguement in favour of nay is that it improves yay. What does nay do on its own? I believe yay is great even without nay's help. Would nay be great if it didnot add to yay's yay-ness?

I don't think you understand that this is, arguably, the most critical issue of our time. I don't think you comprehend the damaage that can be done if we make the wrong descision here.

And what if I refuse to vote ? What if I say to you, I shall no longer be a slave to your every whim, from now on and until the end of time ? I shall never again choose between what to me sounds like the wrong questions to ask. For indeed the debate should not be centered around either Yay or Nay but instead it should focus on one of the most important question of our lives : Why ? Only once you find the answer to that question will you realize the futility of this debate.

Only once you find the answer to that question will you realize the futility of this debate. I find the question "Why?" to be extremely over-rated. People talk about why as if there is a reason for everything that happens in the world. As if mother nature has intentions. Sometimes there is no reason why. Sometimes the question why doesn't even make sense.

On the contrary, I believe that even events that have no logical explanations deserve to be questioned, if not with the question "Why ?" then perhaps with the interrogation "Why not ?" for that is one of the things that defines humanity, the unshakable will to question everything around us and the undeniable curiosity that we develop starting from a very young age. Without those, we are just sheep and while it is true that many of us perhaps enjoy not having to question too much from the comfort of their own life, even those who follow the current without ever trying to see where it's taking them sometimes can't help but wonder if they're not going in the wrong direction.
