Hi everyone,
I'm Josh from Australia. I have struggled with shyness/social anxiety and low self confidence since high school. Over time I have managed it better with the help of counselling and other things. Just wanted to join this forum and see what everyone's experiences were with shyness, and how they 'deal' with it. I'd love to listen and share my experiences. I have found its never easy and a number of things often are needed to help manage shyness. Ultimately though I find it more comfortable to isolate myself from people and avoid social situations, often this can come across as rude or strange to other people. In reality I'm a caring nice person and never mean to make people feel this way.
I love playing soccer and swimming. I work as a medic, disability support worker and would love to do a bit of counselling in the future myself too.
