Hearing, directed at me, "You were right." I usually casually and coolly accept the statement, but inside I'm thinking, "Hell yes! Of course I'm right! I'm always right!" ;D Good or Bad.

I realised it's now been about ten years since I first started looking for help about shyness on the internet. I was 17 and ended up on alt.support.shyness not a good place. But I did meet a man there who talked to me after I randomly sent him a message, I usually never make the first move in approaching someone even online. He eventually led me here and I still consider him special to me even though it's been forever <3

Even when it means absolutely nothing. And it's not like it happens often. It's just so cute, though. Damn it.

I'm winking at you now, but try not to pay any attention: it's an eye problem.

What? People wink at you when they're not flirting? I'd be worried.

What? People wink at you when they're not flirting? I'd be worried. lol...why? You know, winking in conversation. Like how people put winking-smiley faces on here. I'll put them on here...but I hardly ever wink in real life (I think I wink awkwardly). pluuuuuuuuuus....if said person is married, even if it was flirting to a very small degree, it would be meaningless.

Love your standards - definitely at my level.
Yeah, hadn't thought about winking in conversation. Can't say that's ever happened to me. Is that common over there?
I have to wink in a mirror just so somebody will wink at me. Of course, if somebody walks in the room, you look a little nuts.

I have to wink in a mirror just so somebody will wink at me. Of course, if somebody walks in the room, you look a little nuts. You know...I'm not so sure if it's common or not. 1) I don't go out a lot. Okay, ever really. 2) Well, is number one reason enough for me to not be able to answer this question? lol It's not THAT common to my knowledge. Which is maybe why it feels a bit special. I just feel like, when it happens, it's like...I'm let in on a secret or something. Or just let in on a joke or whatever. However the person is meaning it. It's some form of connection. Maybe it's only a certain type of guy that does it really, I don't know. The sort that puts everyone at ease? And actually, I was just wondering to myself, if it's even common for women to wink. This would be better answered if I actually interacted with people more. haha

Yup. I'm not very good with people and I very rarely leave the house. Although goldfish seem to like me...
I think women only wink seductively. Then some other stuff happens... I don't know, it's not my area of expertise.
Since you like it (and this is a one off):
*wink*.
Oh, and:
*super hug*.
