I would appreciate some feedback on this score. Once I've completed my undergraduate education or, perhaps in the course of my schooling, I am planning to volunteer for the Peace Corps, with the aim of lending my talents to the cause of basic educational advancement in Latin America. Herein is my question.
Has anyone posting on this site ever participated in the Peace Corps? If so, what was your impression of the experience? In particular, tell me about how you coped with your problem, namely shyness, in a context that thrusts you so abruptly into the fray of interpersonal contact and etiquette. This objective is foremost in my mind at present, but these issues should be addressed beforehand. Thanks!
