the dude from coldplays shy but he gives off the artsy sensitive look that chix like. The shyest rockstar has to be rivers cuomo from Weezer. Hes super shy.

I think that the term "shy" is chucked around a lot to the extent that anyone who is below average outgoingness is called "shy."
Perhaps reporters write that stars are shy, because they don't talk as much about themselves or other things that most other self-obsessed stars.
