Those images are odd, presumably heavily photoshopped in some form? Nope. The first two are from a TV special called Penguins: Spy in the Huddle. The filmmakers traveled around the world with cameras disguised as penguins, eggs, and rocks, so they wouldn't disturb the birds they were filming. They were able to get up close shots of the penguins, who were very curious at times.

Are they supposed to have hairy bottoms?
It doesn't look right at all.
(BTW, I loved that penguin documentary - very well made).

I don't know if you guys have noticed a pattern in my pictures.  I only don't post pictures of penguins every week because I'm restraining myself.  But since it's been awhile, here's another one:  Horse meets up with lone penguin, touches beak Horses Adopt Penguin
