I am trying to figure out the nature of the threads in
here. Is there any way to respond to specific posts
within the threads (like with alt.support.shyness on
Usenet), or is everything strictly linear?

I don't know what to tell you, Soul. I'm sure Shane will be able to help you. TEXTI've tried doing bold text once and it didn't work for me. I will try it on this post and see if it works.  |

Nope. It just says "Text" where I tried to switch to bold letters. I know somebody here can help you  |

The is a linear aspect to our Forums. I never change things like the fonts and colours myself so I'm not an expert on how to use them. The best way is just to experiment with the add tags. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Shane, you might want to consider the possibility of integrating Forte' Free Agent into your forums section. It is an excellent newsreader, with a lot of features that makes forum access a breeze: www.forteinc.com/main/homepage.phpAnother thing you might want to consider is to move the forum onto a Usenet newsserver. As it is now, this forum is very much inferior to the type of access that I get with Usenet and Free Agent. |
