How do guys feel about being taken pictures of? I hate it intensly. I always look like krap on pictures, it's like a curse  . I can feel good about how I look in the mirror, but when I take a picture of my self just afterwards it's like I'm looking at Quasimodo ore something. |

I'm not really botherd about having my picture taken. I sometimes feel alright about how i look in the mirror aswell though I other times I look in the mirror and feel a lot worse about how I look.

I don't mind having my picture taken. I'm not very photogenic either. But pictures never do anyone justice.

I absolutely agree with you Agravein (although sometimes im not happy with how i look in the mirror, this changes from moment to moment). I almost always look dreadful in photos, my forehead could have a capital city as it just seems huge, and with a large population of spots which show up far more on pictures. It really makes me question myself about what i actually look like. I can not see myself without a mirror or a camera so how do i tell which one is right? What do other people see when they look at me? I feel like i must look exactly how i look in a photo because its a photo of me, but then again i am convinced that i look different in the mirror. I have this debate with myself everyday and my self-esteem and self-image changes contantly as a result.

I don't mind having my picture taken at the time its being done.. Its only afterwards when I see the photo and go "oh my God, I look like that!" that gets to me.

I don't really mind when photographed while doing some activity. But I hate having to look into the camera and smile, all the more in group photos. It's incredibly difficult for me to put up a nice (genuine) smile.
Now, how do you feel about being recorded?

Yes, that's because when you talk, your voice resonates through the inter-scull hollows (Sorry, I can't translate that. I hope you catch my meaning.) wheras when you listen to a record of yourself you hear it straight through your ears - which is different. It's not something peculiar about you.
But I meant video-records - if looking at a photo of yourself sucks, how do you feel about WATCHING yourselves?

Photo's are ok. I look reasonable on them. Recording...not really my thing. I just don't like to see myself in action. And I don't like my voice much either.
