this is f*cking it

i've seriously had it with all my self conciousness crap.
yesterday i was hangin around a bunch of 15 yr olds (im 18) and i was still shy, and still saying stupid things. i swear i lose all intelligence around certain people due to my shyness. i say the stupidest things...things that make no sense, and end up making me look like a complete f*ckin ditz. its so frustrating. im so hard on myself too, i dwell for days on the stupid things i've said...and sometimes can't sleep at night because of it.
i just want to be ME....but I was born insecure, and I'm afraid I'll never be able to just be me because of it. =(

Frustrating, isn't it? The fact that you can see yourself doing it is step one - next just stop yourself from saying anything. Then you can work on deciding what you want to say.

yea around certain ppl i act like dumb too.. don't know what to say cus im to wirried i might say somethin stupid but when i do..i think about it for days
we're in this shyt together all shy ppl united... u know they should organasie* a shy camp lol.. but not for those ppl who are just sayin im so shy and then they're actin normal i mean really shy shy ppl like us.. i have a dream *somthin like this*

i have the same problem too. I get really frustrated and say a lot of stupid things when I'm around people I dont know to well.Then I dwell on it for days. Its very annoying.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I've even had people tell me I'm somewhat of a ditz. I know I'm not, I just don't know what to say! But still, it has a tendency to get beneath my skin and irritate me for weeks on end.
