Hi guys and galls. All I can say is thank God the Christmas holidays are over. There are the longest, lonliest, most hurtful time of the year. Not only do you have to get through the need for endless excusses not to go to office parties, there is also the lonliness of two weeks by myself. Roll on normailty!

I totally agree with you Christine about the need for excuses to avoid office parties. God knows i had a lot of trouble and worry over that recently and it has left me even more isolated from my co-workers. However I am gutted that the holidays are over because it means i have to go back to work again on Monday and I am dreading it. I hate my job and everything about it. I quite like christmas because I still live with my family and its a happy time for me, but i realise this isnt the case for other people and it can be a hard time for them. For me the start of the New Year is the most depressing time of the year.
