well, i finally managed to get registered and logged in.. for a while there i had a wierd internet problem where i couldn't do anything that had to with sending information- replying on message boards or sending emails. Sometimes i would get a time-out error message telling me a page i was trying to load didn't exist, unless i right-clicked and chose to open the page in another window. When trying to add a reply it would almost always give me this error..
I don't know what was wrong and i don't know why it's fixed now, or if it's going to happen again. I think it's still a little goofy; when i tried to register to this forum, i kept getting an error message that the username i was choosing was already taken. I gave up and was going to try later but when i checked my email-box, i found that i had 3 different registration conformations for 3 of the 4 different usernames i tried.

It appears that the other 2 usernames got registered along with the one i kept when i finished registration..
TO the MOD's: sorry for the mix-up! please delete the other two usernames if it's a problem.
the other two names i used are: "Neil" and "Hermitthefrog"

Bizarre things certainly happen with computers. I have two yahoo email accounts. One day I could no longer access one of them from my home computer, so I emailed yahoo help, and they told me my browser was corrupted. But I can still access my other yahoo account...
They're right, though. I can get at both yahoo accounts from any other computer, but only one of them from my home computer. Oh well...I wanted to reduce my email accounts, anyway...

You all may want to go to thye following site: www.grisoft.com and download the AVG "FREE" anti-virus program. This is the "best" anti-virus program I have found even better than Norton's. Then Amanda, you won't have to get that "nasty" virus off your computer. ;D
