Doesn't it annoy you whn people push you to do stuff that you really don't want to do? i'm in the eighth grade in fall and my friends are always pushing me to talk to some guys or do something that i really don't want to do. plus, i'm extremely ticklish everywhere(literally like on my hands and my face) and they use that against me. they'll usually say something to the effect of," if you don't go (whatever here) then we'll tickle you. then usually i either run from them as fast as i can and hide or i go do whatever they said to do. urrrrgh! it's really irritating

12 is way too young to have friends.
I wish I had friends. I think I've had maybe a total of 2 friends in my entire life.

True friends don't shove a person out of his comfort zone.

They are just trying to help the best way they know... you can try and use them for support like tell them to go with you or you can try and communicate to them in a way that doesn't make you look like a loser that they shouldn't "push you" into things and that you'll do it when you feel like it.

I think they should push you a little to boost up your confidence and things like that. I think there should be some limits to it though.

I know how you feel 2_Shy_4_My_Own_Good. But I have to admit, I wish I had put more effort into building my confidence because my fears have only worsened with time. I know it's not too late but am plagued with a bad case of social anxiety and wonder if I will ever be happy. Take Care.
