Im going to a masquarade soon and am scared because I will not know anyone there and since the people there mostly live in the same dorm they have already formed social clicks. what should I do to enjoy the night and meet people when I feel like the outsider . unless someone talks to me early on I will not know what to do and hide in the corner or leave . any advice for me

heres what ill do I say to myself that a future friend is there waiting for me and that I need to find her . This could be where I meet my future spouse. If I believe it to much I will get disapointed though. That at least gives me motivation. I have a mask so I am invincible and so I can ask for a phone # or to dance. I will have to face this situation eventually so why not do it with the mask. Instead of precieving others as threats I will see them as oppertunities . Instaed of seeing the event as terrifying I will see it as confidence building. A success there will mean a future anxiety free in which I can have a great college experience and eliminate any regret .

That's good thinking on your part. Having that mask will make you feel invincible, and no one will see your face. Hell man, you just might have the time of your life at this thing. And yes, you can make some of those girls feel great too. They'll probably be thrilled to have someone to dance with them.
