So tommorow will be loads of fun!
Okay, so yeah...I'm exaggerating....a lot. I guess I better explain.
Well, we're doing this thing my teacher has scheduled us to do for my Spanish class tomorrow. For the next three days we will be going over to an elementary school and teaching 4th graders a few songs and games, which they are learning for celebrating Cinco de Mayo. We have a really small class, so each of us had to pair up and teach something. And since I'm, you know, the way I am, I sat back and let eveyone else snatch up with what they wanted. So now I'm stuck teaching the longest thing that will be the hardest to teach. We ran through (well sorta) what we were supposed to do today in class, and no one seemed prepared to do it all! It's so ridiculous! It's going to be so embarassing. And on top of it all, I don't have a very enthusiastic partner. I woudn't say she is shy at all, she's just like anti-do anything. I'm not sure how it's going to go tomorrow at all. I'm hoping she might step it up a bit, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to be the one to step it up.
If they were younger, say kindergarten, I might feel better about this. I've sort of worked with kindergarteners before. But this is 4th grade I'm talking about here. I remember 4th grade. Kids start talking back a lot at that age and they're so nosy about everything. I especially hate the fact that they will be around my height, some even taller I bet. They better not ask me why I'm short, or I will be one ticked off person! I hate it so much...especially from know-it-all kids at that age. It happened to me before, when I had to help with this field day type thing with the same age group. The girl who asked was so freakin rude. This is also the age, I think, where clothes and the way you look are becoming a lot more important. I mean, appearance has always mattered...since kids tease at all ages, but I think it starts getting even worse at this age.
My teacher really annoys me too. She's all saying how they will be so excited that we are there and how they will be hanging all over us. Oh, joy.
Errrrrrr....really not looking forward to tomorrow or, I guess I should say, the next three days.
