That is very cool and bizarre. From where I am from, it puts me maybe several hundred miles off the coast of where I am right now. lol you know the saying I'd go to the end of the earth for you? I would tunnel through the earth to the other side for you! lol

Looks like I'm going to have to relocate to the middle of the Atlantic if I want to finish my "Tunnel to Melbourne" project. ;D

Watch out that when you reach the surface at Melbourne, the water from the Atlantic Ocean doesn't drain through the center of the Earth and flood the southern hemisphere. If it shifts the center of mass of the Earth sufficiently, it could even knock it off its orbit and make it spiral into the sun.
