And I'll third it - lol! But what is it about cheese? - I heard that Muslim's don't eat cheese. Is that true? I know they don't eat pork or drink alcohol. Just curious. Yeah, i've wondered about that too. I don't know why Muslims don't eat pork. Maybe they picked that tradition up from the Jews. They don't drink alcohol because they're not supposed to consume any mind altering substances, according to the Queran. This goes for coffee, tea, and soda as well.  No wonder they're so odd; anyone who can't enjoy coffee or soda is definitely gonna go through life inhibited and deprived to some extent.  Myself, i couldn't live or function without coffee.  I love coffee. |

I had a boss who happened to be of the Muslim or Islam religion, so that's how I got the information. We never had a discussion about cheese, but I know someone who had a Muslim lady friend and they went to a fast food place, and they each got a cheeseburger. The non-muslim person inadvertently ordered the food, not knowing that her friend did not like/eat cheese. No, I didn't know that they also abstained from caffeinated drinks. My boss had a cup of tea from time to time. Maybe Muslims have different degrees of their religion, like the Jews have Orthodox, etc.  I like coffee too! Like the song, "I like coffee, I like tea..." You can finish it, Russ, ha ha! ;D |

If your ancestors weren't dairy farmers its likely that you are lactose intolerent. And lactose intolerent people have a harder time with cheese than any other dairy product.

For lunch yesterday I had a corned beef & muenster sandwich. Bad idea; the taste of the cheese overpowered the meat. I don't know what that has to do with anything. Then again, that's never stopped me from posting before. |

I remember a few acquantices of mine from a place like that. I do like Starbucks coffee. But i never taste any difference in the coffee they brew for me every day. I suspect they're brewing the same coffee, yet telling me it's Java on Monday, Antigua whatever on Tuesday, Sumatra on Wednesday, and Guatemala on Thursday. Hehehehe, i'm on to their conspiracy. |
