hi guys, i am new to forum so thought of telling about me i am 19 and in 1st year college, as u guess i am extremely shy. among my qualities are: i am excellent at physics and maths, and computers. computers being my passion, my knowledge better suits a phd degree inspite of being in 1st year college. i am a national level swimmer, and state level roller skater and table tennis player. apart from that .. my frnds(..very few), find me very interesting , intelligent, and very nice. but as such i am extremely shy and have lost contact with almost all of my frnds.. and i havent formed any new frnds in months. i have never been a frnd to any girl..though they find me irresestible i dont remember when i last talked to a girl, and i am sure i have never ever made a telephone call to a girl in whole life anyways with you people i wish to improve my social skills, and in process i will be happy to help any other person i can..

is it that shy people r having family troubles as well, or they take even normal family disputes very seriously... for example...... i am having a normal family....... but still those little family disputes or troubles that happen daily.. or r normal ... leave me extremely frustated....

Welcome to the board!! And no, don't take family disputes too seriously. Your family is supposed to make you crazy, that's just the love man! ;D

I can't say that family disputes have in any way contributed to my shyness as there really havent been many. The only really serious dispute in my family happened a couple of months ago. This kinda depressed me because I wanted to get away from it but felt like there was nowhere I could go due to my shyness.

I avoid my family. They cause me nothing but girief. I am much happier without them.
