Hey everyone, I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself; I've lurked on the Forums for a while now and feel (mostly) comfortable enough to post every once in a while. A quick bit about myself: As the profile states, I'm a 22yr male Yank with one year left at Uni (see... I've picked up on the fact that many of y'all are Brits and have tried to translate my postings into your parlance!). Like everyone who finds himself draw to the SU Forums, I'm a bit, well, shy, you know? ("Bit" being a _very_ subjective term.) A bit about my aims: I am looking to use these Inter Nets to "communicate" with all you people here--from what I've read, you are a very diverse group from whom I hope to get some coo' conversations, ideas, and support. For several years I've been struggling to overcome my SA and think that many here can empathize with me. Naturally, I look forward to talking to y'all soon! Cheers ( )

Heh, gotta say I'm feeling "accepted" (and all that jazz) with such a seemingly gushing forth of goodwill. Now all that I've got to do is find out how I can contribute to this online community myself--else what's the use of being more than a simple lurker?
