Man, its been awhile since I've posted here.
OK, I've been feeling depressed lately since I'm still living at home, stuck at a low-pay job, and feeling pathetic because of all this, but things seem to be improving somewhat. I got a job interview at one of the local TV stations on tuesday, and I'm very excited for that. I'm trying my best to be level headed about this, since nothing is set in stone of course, but I'm looking forward to getting a job there, since thats going to be my ticket at getting my own apartment. Hell if I'm lucky I might get one early this summer depending on if I get the job. Getting a job and a apartment won't cure all my problems for me, but its a step in the right direction at least.

OK, I just came back from my interview. They said that they will call me tomorrow about if I got the job or not, but they said to me that I have a very good chance at getting the job, so I'm really excited about that.

Woah, forgot to update this.
Well, its been two weeks since I've started my job at the TV station. Its going pretty well so far. I'm on teleprompting, and eventually I will work my way to becoming camera operator and then floor director. I'm sure theres other advancements, but what they are escapes me at the moment.
And I will be getting my apartment pretty soon too. This kind of surprises me, since I didn't think I would get one this soon. Its the smallest apartment I've seen though. Its litterally one room, with a kitchen area on one side and on the other side would go whatever I put there (assuming I have enough room). The only other room there is the bathroom. But as the saying goes, beggars can't be choosers. And despite it's size, it actually looks very nice.

sounds like you're doing just fine. a small first apartment is the norm, and at least you don't have alot of cleaning to do that way. ;D

And BEHOLD!! I have returned. I just moved into my new apartment, and aside from a few other items, I've got it to the point where its livable. Whats really cool about the place is that its near the lake, and when things warm up I plan to go on the lake walk to relax and think about things. Now comes the next step where I feel ready to have a girlfriend. Theres a person that I have a bit of a crush on at my other job, but its hard to get around to her because, since she can't choose her breaks like I can, its hard for me to reach her, and that, and I'm a bit nervous to meet her because not only do I have the ever so popular feeling that I'm going to come off as a moron to her, but I'd just feel like it'd be all for nothing if I learn that she already has a boyfriend. Any step in the right direction is the right step to take. Well done. Thanks for the kind words. I feel things are improving a bit for me, and I just hope that it gets better from here.
