Well he's one courageous fella. Admiting that you are scared cuts anxiety back because you can't be more anxious if you're admiting it and saying it out loud. Cool show btw

I passionately avoid most TV, but this show sounds like a great experience for all those involved, I have to stay. I think the curly haired guy did incredible well considering his social anxiety, hell, the fact that he even signed up for the show says a lot. But, it depresses me that there really are women as dumb as the Beautys :[.

I watched the first episode on youtube...generally I avoid reality shows, and I felt this one picked on the stereotypical geek and 'dumb beauty queen' (though I didn't think many of them were that attractive), whereas most socially inept people are not geeks and most intellectually inept people are not beauty icons.
It does kind of trivialise the whole problem of social anxiety, even if it does perhaps give some socially anxious people a voice of sorts.

Yeah, I've watched this show before. Kind of merging the popular (beauty) with the less popular (geek). But each learned from the other, which is what I liked best about the reality tv show!

I think season three was the weakest one yet. It seemed like it completely defeated the alleged purpose of the show.

There seem to be quite a few TV promgrammes on at the moment that deal with shyness. I watched one episode of a programme (reality) a couple of weeks ago and its aim was to get young people (16-24) to get over shyness. In fact, i'm sure it was called "Get a Life". lol

It shows a contrast between beautiful women and geeky, awkard guys. I'm not into reality T.V. but I had to watch it.
