Has anybody seen this movie . Its about a lonely guy who dates his bosses daughter. I saw the trailor just after seeking therapy and I thought that guy has sa/sp too. Im not sure if he does though. I think movies could be good therapy because they allow us to learn social success by modelling. Any other movies with shy, lonely people.

No, I haven't seen this movie, but I really want to! I thought it looked pretty good and liked the actors involved. I'm not sure if he's shy, but I don't think he is, although I guess one couldn't know without actually seeing it. I just hope it will be a good movie, because I'm looking forward to seeing it sometime.
Other movies with shy/lonely people? Well, the first one that always comes into my mind is Rocky, because of the character Adrienne. You may have seen that movie already....I don't know. There are more, but I can't think of them right now.

Recent ones off the top of my head:
Garden State, Eternal Sunshine..., Amelie.
I think of Matt Damon's character in Good Will Hunting as a classic shy extrovert. The movie is about his avoidance. If anyone remembers Meatballs, that's about a shy boy at camp that Bill Murray helps to bring out of his shell.
Oh, just thought of another good one, Adaptation with Nicholas Cage as the shy guy constantly berating himself.

I recently saw Wimbledon; really liked it cause what's his name really strives to beat the odds in the tennis matches.
Oh, and the Mask is a great movie about a shy loser too. Stanlet Ipkus really conquers mountains in this one.

Yeah really freaky! But a great movie nonetheless if you're into sick stuff like that. ;D I think many of us here could definitely identify with that character. Up to a certain point, anyway.
Eternal Sunshine, also a great movie. Can't think of any others right now.
