If aybody has an idea for a new category that they would like to see opened on our Shy United Forums let us know? Moogle suggested a few weeks ago about opening a craetive category, which we did.
Any ideas?

I think that a debate board would be fun. Posting random controversial subjects and asking people to post their opinions.

most forums have a category where new people can introduce themselves. something like that might encourage especially shy new members to post and tell us a little about themselves.
this might not be necessary now, but you just might want to keep it in mind when we start getting more and more members.

Yes moogle, i think youre absolutely right. I think that there are a lot more people here who read the articles but who havent posted anything yet. ;) he: 457 times read and 8 replies?
It would be a nice wellcome for the new ones.
And it would be intersting to know a little more about each other -old and new members- besides from what we post here.
Maybe we can also put a board where we post something Positive or Motivating for each other.

Good ideas all round. We had a 'SHY Diaries ' section on the main SHY United website until about a month ago. People sent in their diaries and we put them up. We changed the the SHY Diaries section into the SHY Weblogs section. Putting the 'SHY Diary' section on our Forums is a great idea.
I'll also open up a 'Shy Positive' section for motivational topics / posts and a 'SHY movies / music section.

Maybe no one else here is interested in politics, but I am. Sometimes love a good argument, but don't like other sites because they usually descend into personal abuse.
