Another Aussie here! ;D Hm, where to start? I could tell you my life story, but that would be giving too much away heh... yes, mystery is good! My name is Jacqui, I reside in NSW and am 27. Well, lets see now... I enjoy keeping my neighbours amused with my very loud guitar playing (yes, theres no other way to play but loud!) - im in competition with the drumming neighbour... Im addicted to music, a decent karaoke singer (at least I think so), I struggle with my feeble attempts at perfecting my photography skills, have a wicked sense of humour and love to make people laugh. Bad points? Erm... I do occassionally suffer from minor bouts of road rage (but this consists mainly of colourful names and hand signals)... and I tend to ramble! Anyhow, im looking forward to adding my voice to the others on this board... glad I accidentally stumbled across this place! Ive been shy since gee, forever? Large crowds of people intimidate me... but, once I get to know a person well, then I can turn into 'miss have a chat'

Welcome. I wish I had the guts to play my guitar loud. I always end up playing it unamplified which, as I'm sure you can imagine, sounds crap. Seems to be a fair number of Aussie folk on this board nowadays.

Thanks for the warm welcome, Paul & Slinky! Slinkyninja, im curious as to why play unamplified? Sometimes my music sounds like crap heh (Im not the best yet!), but who cares... or if its a noise issue, playing between 9am & 8pm should be ok?

I guess I'm always paranoid about bothering other people, and I'm not exactly the greatest guitarist in the world either, so I just tend to mess around without actually plugging the thing in.
Good for you for playing loud no matter what though. Keep it up, and drown out that drummer!
