also any thoughts on the style in which it was performed.
to me it wasnt very reverent or true to the american standard of doing it but it fit the theme of the katrina disaster which was good .

I didn't like the way they always try to connect sports to current affairs. Sports are not about politics or social issues; they are about entertainment, cooperation, competition, and enjoyment. One should not be thinking about politics or current affairs when watching sports, like Football for example. Football is an activity to think about in and of itself.  That being said, honoring the victims of natural disasters is perfectly understandeable. Just don't try to ruin my game with some political crap.  |

what was political crap in this instance? Oh nothing. I'm just ranting, that's all. Oh, and what's with the officiating of the football games nowadays? The officials for the superbowl had to be drunk at the time!!!  |
