I thought I'd post this for anyone who was interested in it. Nationstates is a website where you get to make your own country and pass legislative measures that shape the country. You can even pick the country's flag, slogan, type of government, move it to different parts of the world and they even have the U.N. which you can join vote on vote on world issues. NationStates.net

Dammit, you stole my ideas i wa working on. Or the creator of that website did. I may have to sue for libel damages. All those pre-law classes are starting to come in handy now.

I tried this a couple of times but it gets old real quick. No matter what decisions you make it seems to have little or no effect on your country.

I made a nation once although it is long since dead now as I got bored with it. All I remember is that my national animal was the zombie dog.

Yeah, it does get boring. Since I found the website I've been through three nations. I'd start one, eventually forget about it and then the nation would get deleted, but then I'd just start a new one and the cycle would conitnue.

Perhaps we should all go travel to the South Pacific, and claim an island for ourselves. That way, we can experiment on the micro level. I consider public service to be an obligation, after all.

I'd actually be up for doing that. Always best to start from the bottom up right.. on the really primitive level hehe. So when do we start? ;D

Yeah and you'd have to make decisions based on scenarios they give you. You can't just arbitrarily bomb Canada or anything, which is really the only reason to do simulations like that.
