www.politicalcompass.org/questionnairewhere does everyone stand? I got: Economic Left/Right: -5.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.69 fairly accurate, although i was expecting a slightly stronger libertarian score.

It was posted here before...probably been posted several times on most forums given that it's been around for a while now. Always interesting to see how one's political stance changes over time though.

yeah it does like: To occupy Iraq would instantly shatter our coalition, turning the whole Arab world against us and make a broken tyrant into a latter-day hero ... assigning young soldiers to a fruitless hunt for a securely entrenched dictator and condemning them to fight in what would be an un-winnable urban guerilla war. It could only plunge that part of the world into even greater instability. George Bush Snr, in A World Transformed, 1998

Economic Left/Right: 0.63 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.62 I seem a bit more to the center this time than before. Some of the questions were definitely worded weird. Hehehe, if that's even correct English.

@ Sigh- looks like our scores are pretty close. Don't know how accurate the test was though, i had trouble deciding on the answer to many of the questions. For too many of them i needed to be able to answer with an "if" or a "but".

'"From each according to his ability, to each according to his need" is a fundamentally good idea.' That little bit of Ayn Rand inside me (and that we all carry around) made a croaking noise and began turning around in its psuedo-grave when I got to this one. My mommy always told me that there are two topics one should NEVER bring up in casual conversation... religion and politics.
