I'm not sure how I ended up reading a lapbanding forum and was and see people who only need to lose 30-40 pounds to achieve a normal BMI are doing it.
I think it is ridiculous for people who are only slightly overweight to put themselves through major surgery.

I heard an ad for it on the radio today. It said something like "now for only $9,000", like it was some kind of bargain.
So now I see how it really works, you pay them nearly 10 grand and then you can't afford to buy food anymore.
