Yup I agree. Things that happen first thing do tend to affect your approach the rest of the day.
Sometimes I'll bump into somebody a bit intimidating at the bus stop maybe, so I won't say much an then I'll be in this frame of mind where I have to subtly avoid people for the rest of the day...
