It is wonderful. One if the all time British greats. But it's been cancelled.
But there is an American remake coming, and if it's as good as their remake of The Bridge...
Speaking of which, a trailer for Jon Stewart's Rosewater has landed, starring that bloke from The Bridge.
It looks absolutely phenomenal, really worth checking out.

Great, the one show that had some promise and it's cancelled, I don't really want to know about the American remake I like seeing a decent and well made British Sci-fi which come to think of it never relied heavily on effects, the plot, suspense and acting are all perfectly well done.
Hmm, it also has that South American actor who I've seen in a few films but I never know his name.
Kim Bodnia was in the pusher series too, I don't know if I would watch a film for either actor though since I don't think they're up to much, although it would be interesting to see what Jon Stewart would make.

Not much has changed since I last talked about what I'm watching but I thought I'd update anyway.
A few things that have changed:
Watched all of Breaking Bad
Finished: Burn Notice BBC's Robin Hood Community (though I hear there's a sixth season in the works!)
Started: Drunk History (the best way to learn history) TableTop
Shows I'm (still) current on:
The Walking Dead Once Upon a Time Castle Agents of Shield Supernatural Vikings Sherlock Downton Abbey
Shows I'm (still) catching up on:
Angel (very end of season 1) Buffy the Vampire Slayer (very end of season 4) Doctor Who (11th doctor) Game of Thrones (still only seen episode 1 of season 4) The Big Bang Theory (somewhere in season 6 though there are a few eps I've missed from previous seasons) True Blood (season 2)

Jon Stewart is stepping down from The Daily Show after 17 years... I'm genuinely surprised. It made me cry. I feel sick... Just won't be the same without him. Oh, I think another crying session is coming along. Man the tissues, I'm going again... Absolute legend.

Spent the weekend watching the new Daredevil series on Netflix! I enjoyed it, though it was a lot more darker and violent than I was expecting. Of course that is fitting for Daredevil. I'm looking forward to Netflix's other Marvel shows!

Spent the weekend watching the new Daredevil series on Netflix! I enjoyed it, though it was a lot more darker and violent than I was expecting. Of course that is fitting for Daredevil. I'm looking forward to Netflix's other Marvel shows! I'm watching it one episode at a time, like if it was on television. I don't like shows in one huge batch. So I've only seen the first one. I read a spoiler free review that said it was very dark so it didn't come as too much of a shock. I thought it was alright but nothing special. Loved the fight sequences, though. I'm gonna stick with it. It didn't really find it's feet in the pilot episode, for me. I'd give it a solid 5/10 so far. My favourite is still Arrow. Despite the fact the third season has come under some criticism, I've still really enjoyed it. It just gets everything right, for me. And of course, there's The Flash, which is good, not great, but good. We're one episode behind in the UK, but it has a lot of potential. And then there's the new ATOM television show coming. I've read a few reviews and forums online and not many seem to like Brandon Routh or ATOM, but I love him. I think he's brilliant. I do have a feeling Arsenal may show up in that show, considering it's a team up. I do hope they call it 'Up and ATOM!' As for Marvel, aside from Daredevil, I really don't like their TV shows. AoS is just awful. They tend to be good at movies and less good at TV, whereas DC seem to be the opposite. That said, the trailer for Batman v Superman has just come out and looks super cool. Batman looks properly evil. Spot on. And Henry looks more 'Superman' for me, but I don't know why. He's already my second favourite Supes. I like the idea of two Justice Leagues on TV and on film. I think the one on film is like the one we're getting on TV in ten years time. Some have criticised the use of different actors for the same characters but I like that. Two Justice Leagues. The one on film and the inevitable team ups between ATOM's group, The Flash and the Arrow Cave. (I'm also looking forward to Heroes coming back). It really is a golden age for superheroes. The less said about Powers the better... The only way it could get any better is if we had a Justice League v Avengers movie, but it's never gonna happen. But I can dream... (Superman would win, by the way. He'll always be the best). What else is happening on TV? Ah, Trevor Noah is the new host of The Daily Show. Still not sold on that choice, but at least the show is carrying on. And Breaking Bad has just started airing on British television for the first time. Not enjoying it too much. I don't get the fanfare surrounding in. Admittedly, I'm only two episodes in out of five seasons worth, but right now I'd give it a 3 or 4 out of 10. It just lacks cohesion for me, but the performances, humour and direction are good, if not sublime. There's probably some other stuff going on in the world of television but I've blathered on for long enough... Oh yeah, they've stopped making Simpsons DVDs. They've put out 17, which I have, and they've stopped! Ludicrous. At least it's been recommissioned for a 27th season. If it's the last, it'll finish in 2016 aged 29. 29! Bloody hell. 29-years-old. Staggering achievement. I'll shut up, now. Oh, and Top Gear's over...

WOOHOO!
The Simpsons has been commissioned for a 27th and 28th season.
If it ends on Season 28, it'll have been on air for 30 years. 30!
Brilliant news.
Loyal fan to the end...

Edit:
Red Dwarf is back, too! Seasons 11 and 12 coming in 2016 and 2017.
Loved Season 10 a couple years ago.
What a day...

Harry Shearer leaves The Simpsons after 26 years.
Absolutely gobsmacked.
I really, really hope they sought this out and get him back, because he voices 23 irreplaceable characters, including Skinner, Ned, Smithers, Burns, McBain, Kang, Lovejoy, Jasper, Lenny, Hibbert, Kent, Scratchy, God, Otto, Snyder and Largo.
The show has been commissioned for two more years and the current showrunner, Al Jean, has said it will go on without Shearer. When asked what's gonna happen with his characters, Jean simply replied 'recast'.
That'll be interesting.

Wimbledon, back in all its awesomeness. I do love this two weeks of the year. The time difference makes it difficult, but I'm hoping I'll get to catch at least most of the later rounds!

I'm currently following season 2 of True Detective, spork are you also watching it? Compared to season 1 it doesn't seem as good and makes you appreciate season 1 of True Detective.
