Just lying on my bed with my n900 tablet/phone, listening to the radio (bbc world service, currently), vaguely wondering whether it's possible to reinstall the firmware on the phone as is much needed. It's main software is a Linux variant from Nokia not Android, but sadly the download sites seem to have permanently gone.  |

Good luck finding your firmware. I took a quick look and couldn't find it either. So now I guess I will be making myself an omelette because I am getting hungry. Probably no one really cares about my omelette , but since the thread is watcha doin? I thought I should mention it.

I have moths everywhere. They were trying to steal my pancakes. Ergo, no light no moths. It worked brilliantly well. They left my pancakes alone. They ate my underwear instead. Oh yes, I was just in my underwear. That's another story. Also moth related. Long, long story... |

Anyway, what I wanted to say is thank you Sexy Spork, you manage to bring a smile to my face pretty much every time I read one of your post and I'm really thankful for that because I haven't had much to smile about lately. You'd be staggered how much of that story is true.
But I'll be fine. Primarily because of this piña colada in a gallon glass I'm drinking.
It does strange things to me. I have a really strong urge to play a ukulele on a unicycle with my piña colada in one of those baby harnesses you wrap around your chest. With a silly straw. Meh, just because I can.

Yes Spork's posts are good, always funny. Perhaps it's a shame that some other good posters, such as Strawberry and Airburst don't post anymore. They could just be having better lives now though. Incidentally going OT, of course it will never change but maybe it's regrettable that proboards cannot be replaced with some other free forum software. It's not the best IMO in many ways, though there are good features such as being able to change your display name easily without an admin (like phpbb but not possible on paid-for vbulletin). On the downside it apparently means that an adult board is not allowed. It's also a bit unfortunate that the admin here (Twice-Shy) seems to have completely dissapeared. So presumably no-one has the right to install any proboards add-on scripts if people wanted them or update anything really like the awfully outdated portal site that links to the forum! If the board was ever revamped like that, perhaps more people might join and post again. But not neccessarily and is'nt it ok enough as it is anyway? |
