I'm happy that both candidates say they will get nuclear power plants up. oh gee...didn't they teach you about the hazards of nuclear power in school where you live? in case you weren't aware, this is what happened when we developed nuclear power in my state. and unfortunately, due to the nature of nuclear energy, when anyone does this kind of thing anywhere on the planet, it affects everyone's health for eons. Well I realise there's been some accidents in the 20th century but there's less and less of these stuff happening. I think you gotta take a chance on nuclear power.. I think it'll be worth it. Clean energy. Apperently there are 20 new nuclear plants planned for USA alone. France gets most of its electricity by nuclear plants and they haven't had any problems in decades.

I'm happy that both candidates say they will get nuclear power plants up. Me too. Nuclear power is much more safe and clean than people think. As long as they keep the core temperature low and not overwork the reactors, yes, they are fine. The other problem with the nuclear plants is keeping a steady flow of water to them. Water is the moderator the engineers use to channel the heat from the core, so it does not melt down and spill radiation and wastes. A nuclear plant will therefore need a large and steady stream of water for safe operation. This will pose a problem for desert environments with already strained water supplies.

Anyways, I think increasing the drilling and drilling in new areas is fine. But let's not throw all our eggs in that one basket. Let's step up the coal mining and natural gas too. Add some nuclear reactors. Put out thousands of turbines and damn up some rivers. Start growing more corn for ethanol production. Build some satelites and put them in orbit to collect microwave radiation. Hell, put some more money into nuclear fusion reactor research while we're at it. Let's power up in many ways, not just one or two. The fossil fuels will run out eventually. So use them now and funnel money and research into the new methods while we're doing so.

This far-left guy, George Soros, the student of the philosopher Karl Popper, is probably the most dangerous guy in the media. He's behind Media Matters and Move On.org that are pushing this leftist ideology and smear anyone who disagrees. On a lighter note, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willice, Sylvester Stalone.. all Republicans.

as some in the US have heard, there is another massive bailout in the works for the banks, which is basically a blank check to the administration to give out money to financial companies without any oversight or accountability at taxpayer's expense I encourage anyone living in the US to check out the following petition sanders.senate.gov/petitions/?petition=financial_crisis_1
