Hate it - I don't truth them.

The media don't reflect what's really going on in the world. They exaggerate. They twist the truth. And sometimes, they simply tell bullshit.
To amuse you, to entertain you - and also to make you buy stuff.

The media are very smart. They have tried and tested techniques to manipulate people's way of thinking without them even realising it.

It sickens me.

I voted I hate it. "The Media" nowadays mainly consists of 24 hour news networks like Fox, CNN, MSNBC, etc. These networks are are funded by advertisements and companies will only advertise on shows that get ratings. So, in order to get ratings the news networks don't put on real news, they just put on whatever will get people to watch (or they try to "spice up" the real news) and usually what people want to watch is complete crap. I don't like to watch the local news networks either because they try to fit everything into a 22 minute segment, which isn't possible. The newspaper and magazines are better, but they can really strong biases depending on what you read and not many people have time to read the paper.

Just in case there may be any doubt about how old audio feels bout the media, I absolutely hate it! They don't tell the whole truth on a matter or matters. Some of the stuff I've found out makes me so mad. Like all that business about the Serbs and Croatia. The Serbs got all the blame for the "genocide" back in the 90s. They just wanted to keep being part of Yugoslavia. I'm not good with expressing myself mostly because my brain can't remember names or places very well. But that Trial at the Hague (and now another man has been arrested and going to have to go through the same thing!!!) regarding Slobadan Milosovich - (excuse spelling) was an illegal trial he went through. And some people are still talking about the 200,000 people he supposedly killed, only "the bodies were not found!!!" (Mary Mostert - Renew America - March 2006)

There's so much more I could say, but since I have "brain freeze" most of the time, I guess I'll stop for now. As it was, I still had to look up the source of that quote (above).

Like all that business about the Serbs and Croatia. The Serbs got all the blame for the "genocide" back in the 90s. They just wanted to keep being part of Yugoslavia. Milosevic was like the Hussein of the Balkans. He slaughtered his own people, because he didn't like their ethnicity. Then NATO interwened and stopped the genoice in Kosovo. Two USA soldiers died in this noble effort.

As much as we don't like war, and believe me I don't like war, but in a world we live in, where exists such hatred, these preventory acts are unfortunately required because they are a counterforce to evil and prevent from having more people killed.

A more extreme example was the dropping of two atomic bombs on Japanese cities in World War 2. It's a tough one being the one to call shots on these things, but they were right and it was later reported that more people would be killed had the USA not used nukes.

I dislike the media because they just plain annoy the shit out of me. I think they're all loud and bothersome and generalists who make mountains out of molehills. I think they create more problems than they solve and I think they break more laws than the very people they're reporting on for their lawbreaking.

But more to the point, they're all a bunch of camera crazed narccisists, completelty in love with their own voices and appearances that they feel dutybound to announce it all over tv and in print. They don't care about news or facts or realities; they care only for what makes them look good. It has to be fashionable and exciting for them to report it. And if not, you never, ever hear about circumstances unless you actually live them.

Plastic surgeons and psychiatrists would lose their jobs and go broke witout the media jackals. But I do admit they make nice targets to shoot at with paintball guns and tires on their cars to lock up in iron chockswhen their backs are turned . . . ;D !!!!!!
