I've met some women in voice chat and they are shy and kind of depressed and sad..and then they start saying that they love me and want to be my gf. etc

It's strange but i guess they think all American men are wealthy and can travel there and that we have house and financial stability

It doesn't happen that often but i've gotten like 10 women that started seriously saying that they love me and wanted to be with me. Of course i had to say no because i can't travel or anything and i really dont like long distance stuff(foreign countries) , well an most of the ones that say they like me are not girls that i'm attracted to. They are wonderful friendly people but not my type.

Yeah, this is all a fraud meant to drain you for money. Just stay away from all those and stop ALL contact you have with them. Just think of it - isn't it a bit weird that they're suddenly all shy and depressed, and how can they LOVE you when they haven't met you in person?

Yeah, but if they somehow got your e-mail address, and personal information in any way {I don't know what kind of methods these disgusting parasite frauds [there it was again ] have to obtain valuable information from people} then they might would have been able to steal your money ^^.....?

nokotbon, what rukry is meaning about the money is that in your bank account, not the cost of the voice chat itself.

This is not to make any generalizations about the girls you are talking to or about mail order brides necessarily (it is not uncommon for these 'mail order brides' to be forced into their situations by other people).

The warning, however, is about gold diggers: the term 'gold digger' is the name for someone who uses another person for their money under the false pretense of being romantically involved with them.

The concern is that this happens to many people, men and women alike and the posters here don't want to see it happen to you, too.
