How do u deal with your mates girlfreind flirting with u in front of him and trying to chat u up?not only that but sending hints to u online as well. what kind of relationship do they have? maybe he's telling you she's his gf when she's not for all i know. has he complained to you about her flirting with you 'in front of him'? are they 'going steady'? is she wearing his letter jacket? his pin? a ring? do they have tattoos with each others' names? are they engaged? and what constitutes 'flirting' and what type of 'hints' is she sending and how? do they have a sexually exclusive relationship? just wondering. too often i see people expecting their 'romance target' to stop talking to people of the opposite sex altogether the moment they have a thought in their head that they might like him or her. as far as 'chatting u up' goes, i wouldn't think there was anything sinister if the content was harmless. i would say for sure, if he's declared his intentions to marry her both to you and more importantly to her, you would both be wronging him by engaging in sexual behavior including sexual tease (which is what i assume you mean by flirting). anything else, i'd need to know more to respond to the question. if he's not sending her a clear signal of his interest in a long-term committed relationship with her, the problem might be on his end (if there is a problem). maybe, if you haven't already, you should ask him what his intentions are towards her and whether he's in a committed relationship with her or not? sorry bout the 20 questions, but i don't like to assume i understand the situation.

Ignore them or talk about something boring. Should be easy for us, no offense. You people shouldn't actually be offended because I am one of you. A shy guy!

Seriously, when I feel like insulting/offending someone, I make my statement clear.

I'm in the same situation my friends girlfriend even plays footsie with me! I know she's flirting but I try to ignore it. Again because I'm shy I don't want to confront her. No. 1 rule never hit it off with your mates girls. But being shy it hard to fend her off. ARGH
