should people in india and other countries that hold it an ancient sacred symbol be expected to give up use of the swastika because hitler used it in germany? please explain and support your views.

Sure. It waaayyyy predates the Nazi use, and you can see it EVERYWHERE in Asia -- on toys, on TV, on temples. The Asian symbol isn't even technically the same swastika as Hitler's -- the Nazi version is rotated 45 degrees. Why should they give up an ancient tradition just because ignorant Westerners unaware of the history behind the symbol might be offended?

Why should we remove our sacred symbol when we created it first. Intelligent people can tell the difference between the swastika and hilters symbol. Hitler just mirrored it and said it was his. Well let him have it, we will keep the original.
He degraded the symbol, but then again he degraded his own country
