So this guy. We've been best friends ever since we where in 9th grade, and now we are in our second year of college. Our relationship, i've got to say... is very strange. I can't explain what it is i feel about him, and i really can't figure if HE feels anything towards me AT ALL.
Sometimes when we go the park and we sit under a tree, he will look at me straight in the eyes and tell me, "you are the most beautiful girl i have ever meet." only to add seconds later that "he is so lucky to have me as a friend." We have spent countless nights talking to eachother, laughing like crazy.
Most of our friends believe there is something between us, and sometimes it seems like we act like a couple, which makes me even more confused. Sometimes i think he is about to say something and then changes his mind.
I dont know what to think. What is inside his head & heart?

What is inside his head & heart? just ask him if he likes you as more than a friend. assuming you like him as more than a friend, it might help if you offer that info before you expect him to answer - less chance of fear of rejection interfering.

I think that he does like you. I mean if I said "you are the most beautiful girl i have ever meet." To a girl it usually means I like her. Just ask him though, I know that it will be scary especially since if it was me I would be afraid that it could mess up our friendship, but take the chance!!

It's worth a try, yes. But, you never know. Many years ago, there was a female friend I had. I was interested in more, she kept trying to build up my self-confidence by telling me "You have so much to offer"......yet, she didn't want what I had to offer. Shortly after that she was swept off her feet by a rich, handsome dude and that was that.
