What sort of problems are ypu having Moogle? It seems to work fine when I go in.
Here's a few instructions Mildman1: 1 - Enter a nickname for yourself and then click 'enter chat.' 2 - Once inside, you'll see a long white rectangle at the bottom of the chatroom (your nickname will be alongside it in yellow writing. This is where you enter your text. Click your mouse into the rectangle to begin typing. 3 - To send your text hit the enter key on your keyboard.

My PC locked up while in the room. When I rebooted, my PC took like 10 minutes to start. May've been because of an XP patch earlier in the day. The patch had lasted hours, and I locked up a few minutes into the chat.

That really is a shame that some of you have major problems with the chatroom. The chatroom works fine on my machine. I only have Windows 98. It could that the problems are caused when more advanced operating systems are used. I will send off an email today to the chatroom provider.
Thanks for that.

I sent off that email yesterday to the chatroom provider to see if there is any compatibility problems - and if so what we can do about them. Watch this space...

I received an email back this morning from the chatroom provider. Basically, they said that the problems some of you were experiencing using the chatroom were coming from your ISP end and not from their chatroom end.
Some ISP out there can be temperamental when it comes to using the chatroom applett. Some ISP can log you off prematurely or can mess up your system.
It's nothing to do with using Macs or different versions of Windows.
For those of you having problems (Moogle etc...) it might be worth you while emailing you ISP for advice. They might have a patch that could sort the problem out.
Let me know how it goes.
