But if I'm reading this right, here we go.
If he told the other person to move so he could sit next to you in that car for the ride home, I'd say that he does like you. Men do that; if he makes an effort to be near you a lot of the time, then, yes, he does like you.
Now, how deep his feelings for you really are is impossible to say. A man will frequently chat with a woman he likes often, even if yall are talking about nothing at all. If a man touches you, like your arm or shoulder, then he does really like you. Touch is always a big indicating factor for these situations.
If you have the opportunity to be around him again, do so. Smile and talk to him a lot, and the dialogue doesn't even need to be about anything in particular. And if you can work up the nerve to touch him, and he touches you in return, then Bam! You got it nailed down.
