Not a website about shyness, but interesting nonetheless:
www.marksdailyapple.com/
I'm interested to hear what everyone thinks of the things that are said here in regards to what constitutes healthy eating and excersize, as well as the other tid-bits littered about the blog posts. It is fairly different to regular ideas of healthy eating (for example, no grains ever, low carb, saturated fat is your friend etc), but other stuff should seem absolutely normal such as eat lots of fruit and vegetables.
I actually got so interested in this that I followed the primal eating plan with about an 80% success rate (the parents wouldn't get on board because of the whole "no grains" thing ) but the results were most interesting.
To start with, for a couple of days I felt a bit weak (described as a very common thing to happen for almost anyone who transitions from a regular food plan to the primal plan), but after that I felt like I had quite a bit of energy compared to normal, as well as my acne clearing up quite a lot (where pills have always failed), I slept easier, and the food tasted so nice!
I couldn't keep it up however, due to my parents being quite disapproving and refusing to jump on board, coupled with my job at the time involving hours such as 5pm-4am in the city where the only place to eat at that hour is mcdonalds, so It became hard to keep doing it. I feel that if I could make the choices regarding food in the house, I could permanently make the adjustment.
So yeah, interested to hear what peoples opinions are in regards to the website. And before anyone draws a connection, no this is not like Atkins. Atkins is a Diet you do for a few weeks and then stop. Primal Blueprint is something you do for life (and I believe it also focusses more on meat than atkins does.)
